How to import or link contact info into Outlook from SQL Server

I'm sure this is an easy one.

I have a table in SQL Server that has name, department and phone numbers of all our employees. Can I import or link this to a public folder in Outlook and create a list of contacts from it? I know vba and sql server but have done nothing with data in Outlook.
