Hello,
I am new to MAS 90. We are just getting our company set-up. Is there a way to import into MAS 90 using Access or VB using ODBC? I would like to import all of my PO items into the Purchase Order module. Thanks for your help.

Heath

The only 2 means of bringing external data into MAS90 are Import Master and Visual Integrator. These are MAS90 modules. You may use Access, Excel, VB, or "whatever" to compile or manipulate the data needed to be imported, then import those results. ___________________

Yes, you can post items via ODBC into MAS90. However, be careful which table you import data into. I am importing into two different tables, which I think both are Data Entry tables (in GL and PR). The import is basically equivalent to a user adding entries into each of the modules.

Could mpemberton briefly outline how to import using ODBC into MAS 90? I was not aware that the SOTAMAS90 ODBC drivers allowed update of MAS 90 data. Thank you!
