I read the FAQ about corrective patch for BC10 to remove the tones (intrusion and conference call).

But what are the basic steps to activate this patch?

Thanks

Well ,maybe this is too simple?
Anyway, just paste the BC10 part of the thread (from PCASI to the end). Create e.g in Notepad a New file. Now, copy the pasted part to the New file. Name it. Then, with Winfiol "Transmit File" just insert it/them to the system.
NOTE! The Winfiol setup must be correct in order not to stop the transmission!
When ready, with PCLOP:UNIT=xx or YY check that everything is there. Or, with changing ASPAC 100 you can see that it works! If not satisfied, you have to remove the patch(es) with PCPAS and PCASE. Actually, it works fine, made in UK!

am I right saying that it is regular MML commands that we could type one by one?

How do I check that Winfiol is correctly set up for not stopping the transmission?

is ther a real risk in upload this patch?

Thanks.

can someone confirm there is no or very little risk with this version number:

LZY2035190/3/CNI130-7/R2A

thanks

The patch don't get loaded in the system if its for wrong the wrong version.

In the PCASI command there is a check for the unit's rev .
Just make sure to use a BC10 patch in bc10 , and a BC11 patch in BC11 and so on .

Trouble with patches are also relasionship to other units ,or patches in other units .
This is why Ericsson deliver servicepacks .
