How to I make perl programs (w/ .pl extension) in to executables?

hi, new comp. si. student,

I want to know how to make perl programs into .exe programs. I have borland c++ and I kinda of gather that I have to make it into c code first but I really have no idea. Non of the professors at my college know.

There is another way - a program called perl2exe will do it but it costs money unfortunately, about £200 last time I lokked at it. I tried the demo and it seems to work.

thanks, it works!, unfortunately my 100 byte perl script is now a 600 kb application but its all cool. -peter

600Kb is the same size the process requird for Perl execution.
You can get a smaller EXE using ASPACK (about 50% less)
