I have just bought a new Palm T/X. It is the last Palm using the Palm-written software. I am running SK98 under WinXP Home. The T/X connects to the desktop via a USB port. The software that comes with the PalmDesktop only recognizes connection via the old serial port cable. There is no way to tell--at least none that I could find--the Palm software to look for a USB connection.

Thus, I am not able to HotSync my T/X with my SK.

PLEASE HELP. PLEASE.

I think you have hit a dead-end. I haven't found any way to circumvent the USB port problem.

Dear Gyula,

Hallo again!

I have thought about this and believe now that the best option is to go for a small handheld that runs XP and to install Sidekick97 on it and then you can Synchronise across a wireless Network.

You know more about Synching than me, is that an option?

Regards
Jim
