I have several ata devices that allow the use of a analog device. How are these hooked up to the system? Do you put them on the backboard with the MICS or are they at the location of the analog device. Thanks in advance for your help everyone.
Greg

OK here we go :
mount on the backboard with the MICS
next cross connect the DN to the In port on the ATA
then out the ATA to the station feed cable
Power up the ata and Voila its done
Then its just a matter of tweeking with some simple programing to fit the analog device to the user
IE.line apper. line pool access and so forth If you find a tip helpful Please take a moment to mark it as such.

if you are installing ata2's be careful not to stack them or if you do stack them provide ventalation between them. they will get quite hot if stacked, enough to burn out the ata and warp the plastic over time.

I got them working, I have them hung on the backboard in my air conditioned server room. Will they be ok as far as heat goes??

they should be fine, its only when they are piled one on another two or three deep in a closed closet that there may be problems.
