How to highlight round button with backgournd image and specific areas of a picturebox?

Hello!!!
Is it possible to highlight controls like a round button with a streched background image and specific areas of a Picturebox??? And how??? I tried with focus method to the button when I click on it but without effect. Any suggestions?
