I am working for a web dev company who provides asp app.

App will be set on on customers servers, so i'm looking for a way to prevent customers editing and modifying scripts because of guarantee.

Thanks for help - sorry for my poor english ... i'm french!-

In this case I would just keep a copy and tell the customer that altering the file voids the guarantee. If they have a problem you can use a quick script to compare your copy and their copy to make sure they match word for word before honoring the guarantee. Explain to them very carefully that you can't be held reponsible if one of their employees tries to edit the file themselves, and that in that case you would be willing to come back and fix it, but it will no longer be part of the guarantee and therefore will be subject to full maintenance charges.
The threat of their employees costing them money is usually a good enough one that they will keep a short leash on them.

If you're coding ASP, you have nothing to worry about because ASP is server side and it can not be viewed by "View Source". Only results are viewed.

I did download some demo asp scripts for a Gaant chart or something once that had sort of encrypted vbs. I couldn't read it (i.e. it looked all garbled) but it ran fine. So there is a way, but I have no idea how. I'm sure you can find a solution on google or something. Post it here if you do.
