How to Hide a folder in XP?

Hio their,

I have 4 other users on my pc and I want to hide some folders on Partition D drive. Could anyone suggest how could i do that?

I would also like to password protest it that when i am logged and I want to view the contents of that folder I t prompt me for a password.

Your best bet would probably be some encryption software. Theres lots of stuff on the market.
Even zipping with a password works well
 
Questions

Are you all logging on with different user ids?
Are the others 'Administrator' users?
Are you running Home or Pro?
 
right click on the folder you want to hide,go to properties and check the box that says hidden.
