I'm getting a bunch of virus over the last couple of weeks... will do a seperate post on what they are...

But, Norton fixes them, then put's them in my inbasket, where I have to go through and deleate each one of them... almost 3,000 in 2 weeks ! A real time killer.

I can't find a way to have Norton just trash them.

I'm using the 2003 basic antivirus that came on my pc.

Thanks for any help.

I have the same question. I sure hope someone answers you with a good solution. Thanks for posting.

Hope this works for you.

To configure Email Scanning to silently delete infected files

1.Start NAV by double-clicking the Norton AntiVirus icon on your desktop or by clicking Start >
Programs > Norton AntiVirus > Norton AntiVirus.
2.Click Options. The Norton AntiVirus Options window appears.
3.Click "Email" under the "Internet" heading in the left column.
4.Click to select "Repair then silently delete if unsuccessful" > OK
