how to have html link to flash?

I need help I have a .swf file that has stops at 3 different intervals. What I am hopin to do is have an html link to each of the three different intervals. The movie is embedded into the html, I am just not wquite sure how/if this can be done. Any help would be much appreciated.

Im sorry its one movie embeded into my html. I want to be able to have the movie start at different intervals depending on the html link they click,
