I have sent my website address to a few people just to see what I've accomplished so far (still under constrution)and some of the people I sent it to said they couldn't view the index bars to the left (these are not done with shared borders)They would just see a white box with a red x. Others can see everything that's on it. What would cause it to be viewed differently on different computers?

Some MS functions dont work on Netscape... is that the browser they were using?

Here's the problem: Every computer will appear at least slightly different. More specifically, Netscape, IE, Opera, AOL, etc and Mac, Windows, UNIX, etc are all going to display (or refuse to display) different parameters differently.

To try and minimize these differences, with the knowledge that you'll NEVER succeed in a perfect presentation to EVERYBODY, first identify what's different in each scenario by polling this link:
Then use code from this link: to initiate the right layout/parameters for each browser & OS.

There's no simple answer, but, if you have the time, this is how to go about addressing the matter.

Thanks for this information. I will check with the people who said they couldn't view it all and see what they're using.
