Hi.

If a call is recived to the main number and answerd in that group, the group member with ext 1234 is answering the call and transfers the call to another ext, when the extention that the call is transferd to do not answer i would like the caller to return to ext 1234 if it is free.

as it is now the call seems to return to the group and anyone in that group can take the call.

Can above be done?

system SW is Release 7 PR1 i think.

Regards. UO

To my understanding the call will be transferred back to the originating group or extension. In this case it was a group XYZ that the call came through to, and got answered by 1234.
When the call is transferred, the system do not see 1234 but it sees XYZ transferring the call, hence the call is sent back to the group when it is not answered.

It would be a different case if the call terminated directly to 1234, and get transferred from there.

I have not tested this out, but I am pretty sure this is how it works - I might be wrong :)
