how to get the database structure? 1

I am using my enterprise manager to connect to a remote sql database server. I am able to connect to teh database fine, I now wish to get the database structure. How do I do that??? Are there inbuilt methods for this purpose?

You could use the somewhat limited database Diagram funtion in Enterprise Manager(EM). It does not automatically show you the schema for the DB but you can manually represent it.

You can also right-click on the Database in EM and script out the DB to a test file. This will give you the schema, constrainst, Keys, Indexes ....

You could also use a third party tool like ER/Studio and reverse engineer the DB.
