I have a report that has a Location group and within that group a Physician group. I have a subtotal for the Physician group that works correctly but I need to get a subtotal for the Location group that adds up all the Physician subtotals. Then I need to get a grand total of all Locations. Any suggestions or links to how to go about this would be appreciated.

I you have coniserable trouble getting the totals you want in your footer subroups and report footer, I would seriously consider putting them on subreports. Just calculate your totals on their underlying query(ies). My experience has shown me that this practice can work very well in certain situations.

Good Luck.

If your report is grouped first by location and then by physician, you should be able to display a location footer section and place the same expressions as used in the physicians footer. For instance if you had a field containing [HrsWorked] that you wanted to total in both footers, use the control source of:
=Sum([HrsWorked])
You could use exactly the same control source of a text box in the report footer to get the report total.
