How to get SQL Server Roles ?

How I can get the SQL Server roles from my application.
I have used a query which execute the sp_helprole procedure but I doesn't return the roles names !
I'm working in D5
What can I do ?

Depends on the server. You may not be able to do anything. Have you tried asking your DBA for a stored procedure?
