I have a SUN 420R, that I installed using the serial port as console. Now I have added a frameboard, and want to have that and a keyboard as the console.
During boot it prints to the display, but when the Solaris and graphic environment takes over it gets quiet.

I don't want to reinstall it. Is there anyone who knows which files to change to let it see the 'new console'?

Use the command eeprom (as root) to see the settings for input-device and output-device.
You can change them by using
#eeprom input-device=keyboard
#eeprom output-device=screen

This will take effect the next power cycle.

I checked them, they are already set to those values.

But I think this setting affect the boot only.

There may be some files under for example /etc that have to be changed, but which?
