I have IIS on Server 2000. I have 2002 Frontpage Server Extensions installed and during the install it also loads SharePoint. I am also using Frontpage 2003.

When I go into IIS and look at the server extensions properties of the web site it also says that SharePoint is installed. I can also see the SharePoint Admin in IIS but there are only 2 files admin.dll and fpadmdll.dll in the folder.

When I go to Run | Admin Tools | SharePoint Admin I get the Frontpage Servers Extensions admin page.

When in Frontpage and I try to add SharePoint Team services I get an error message telling me that I need to be on a server running Sharepoint. Also, when I go into create a new page and choose the SharePoint Services tab there is nothing there.

Can someone point me in the right direction? I need to get this site buildt and running for our benefit enrollment.

Thanks.

I bumped this up because I am desparate at this point. I have followed this thread:( ) but I guess i have a different version of IIS because on my I don't have anything that says Application Pool.

My web site is running on port 80 but the SharePoint Admin is running on port 3004.

Can someone try to point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Just to clarify, are you running SharePoint Team Services or trying to run Windows SharePoint Services (which is an addon to Windows 2003?)

Application pools are only available in IIS 6.0 which comes with Windows 2003 Server.

Thomas

Hello Thomas,

Thank you so much for answering. I am trying to run Sharepoint Team Services. I have IIS 5.0 on Server 2000. I currently have 2002 FrontPage Extensions installed. When I go into the properties of my web it says I have Sharepoint running but I know that it's not.

Yesterday some how I got it to work. When I went into admin for the web I now had options for discussions that I didn't have before. Then it stopped working and now I can't get it working again.

Thanks.
Trice
