How to get shared folder's source server in DFS

Hi,

I have 30 file servers in one domain and around 1000 share folders in these servers, I am using DFS.

My query is how do I get (through vbs script) that which folder is in which server.

you can use the dfsutil.exe /pktinfo

i use an exec method and read the stdout to get the info i want

try doing a pktflush before you map the drive.

we had problems with machines coming out of hibernation mode and then thinkin they have to reconnect the dfs share and picking the first server in the list, athens...which was a few hopes on the WAN shall we say from where their local server is!!
