Hi

I want to have the same color background on a photo, but don't know how to do it.
For example, I have a person against some sort of grey background, but I want to make the paper a bit bigger, but I cannot duplicate the grey background to match, so the finished pic has a black and grey background that does not match, and looks really silly.

Do you use the eyedropper for this?
Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

I use version 9

Thanks so much!

Well, if you already know how to increase the "paper-size", then if it's a textured background you could use the clone tool and clone over the area you want to match the rest of the background... if it's a solid color, you could use the eyedropper to pick up the color of the background and use a paintbrush or the fill tool.
