How to get Samba Version that is running?

How do I get the Samab version that is running in AIX 4.3.3? I have Samba runing but need to know what version? I did not install it so I do not know. James Collins

You may be able to use 'lslpp -L |grep samba', but that will only work if Samba was installed as a binary AIX package (.bff) file. If it was compiled from source you'll have to find where it lives (probably /etc/samba) and read the README file. d3funct

The software required `Windows 95 or better', so I installed Linux.
