Hi all,
Every time I start or restart my Win xp cumputer this message pops up and I click on OK. How do I get rid of this message because it is a pest.
"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the message request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client"

Thanks

You could run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.

I could but I'm using Outlook Express and would like to keep using it.
Is there something in the registry to change to rid this?

You should be able to set OE as your default mail client in Control Panel, Internet Options, Programs.

It is set and still have the problem. This happens on all my computers using Outlook 2000.
Thanks for reply.

what is trying to use the email client when the machine starts up? have a look in your startup folder and msconfig to see what is trying to send a mail, as i wouldnt expect that to happen when you boot a machine...
