How to get rid of the peskey Double Arrows for Tabs and Dots for Spaces

I don't know how I triggered it, but On some of my code pages am seeing Double Arrows for Tabs and Dots for spaces in the code. I guess some people like that or some tormentor invented them to drive me crazy! I was messing with so many settings today and this came up. Does anyone know how to suppress this nonsense:

I find this very annoying. Maybe I have OCD, but it sure grates at me.

Hi,

VFP menu:
Tools -> Options => TAB IDE => uncheck the box Display white space -> Set as Default, should do it

Thank you very much. By the way, it only worked when I did it on the individual pages. Apparently I only messed it up on some of the Method pages by RightClicking and selecting the Properties listing. Inside, it lloks like I accidentally clicked on Display white space and that messed me up...
