I have put together a report and in the report footer I want to place the date the source data was last updated/modified. I have looked in Crystal 9 and the closest I can find is the function that returns the report date. I am using MS Access as the source. Any ideas?

Since a database has multiple files, and of those, multiple tables, assuming that the last date the database was modified would probably prove incorrect.

Intelligently designed databases allow for Created/Updated by using datetimestamp columns for each table (not necessarily in the same table, but generally).

If the design has not allowed for maintaining when each row was created/updated, you probably cannot determine it.

Post in the MS Access forums as my Access knowledge is thankfully limited ;)
