Hi,
Does anybody knows how to get list of valid print flags for defined printer ?
Didn't find in man of lp anything helpful...

Hello there
This is a difficult one, I have looked in the past and not really got anywhere so if you get somewhere let me know, bwright@eu.go2uti.com. HP really need to update this to make it easier etc.....
The places I would look if I was you would be:
/etc/lp/interface/<printer name>
This file contains a list of options related to the remote printer. These are not specific, but it will depend upon the model you have installed.
/usr/lib/lp/model/<print drivers>
These files contain the print driver options for which ever model of printer you set the printer to. Working through these files gives you much more options.

Alternatively you could put the code in the file itself, this is a bit complicated but there are instruction sheets on the internet for example:
Which gives you the escape charaters for HP Printers.

Best regards

Ben
