How to get into the config of a i2004 1

I've got a few i2004 phones, How do I get into the adim. I thought I hit the 4 buttons below the display when the phones turn on.. thanks.

When the nortel networks comes up, or whatever banner appears, you slide your finger over the four buttons from left to right
