How to get email form to display correctly in Explorer

I setup this page that has an email sign up form on it.

It looks fine on Safari and Firefox, but on Internet Explorer it seems to space everything out more making the form overlap with the background design.

How can I fix the code so that the form displays properly on IE ?
 
I'd start by fixing the 11 errors and 26 warning in the page, including the lack of doctype.

There's no pointing trying to fix it if there are many errors that may or may not be contributing to the display discrepancies.

Also the lack of a doctype sends IE into quirks mode, which means its rendering the page any way it can and not in a standard way as with other browsers.
