How to get chart from mschart control as image? 2

Is it possible to get the chart drawn as image file from mschart object?

Or is there any other component that can save the output to an image file?

Any ideas are welcome

In that thread, strongm provides a mechanism for saving part of the screen as a jpg file. That should get you started.

You can use the MSChart method EditCopy to copy the image to the clipboard.

Example

MSChart1.EditCopy

If you paste in Excel it will paste the data. If you paste special and select picture it will paste the picture.

Good luck.

PS The format of the picture is a windows metafile.
This can be inserted into most microsofts applications.
