Hello
I have setup the CDR port on an option 81c for WinCall. Everything working exept that outside incoming calls are not showing in CDR report. I have the ANI working on the phones when I am getting calls. Our rep told me That I have to turn ANI on the port. Can you please steer me in the right direction on how to program it. Thanks in advance

goto ld 19 and prt FGDB (if you have this package)
make sure CDAN is set to yes.
that will set CDR to include ANI.
check your route setup also in ld 16.
check your CDR settings in ld 15.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. I tried the FGDB command and it gave me Sch. When you say check route setu in ld 16 and CDR in LD 15 what sould I look for. Is there a step by step procedure. Thanks for your help

in ld 15 there is a cdr data block. you can print this out in ld 21. it basically lets you know what is setup on a customer basis.
in ld 16 where you build and change your routes, which you can print in ld 21, there is a cdr gate opener. if you prompt yes at CDR you will get an INC prompt. if set to yes it will send incoming calls to the cdr.

print your incoming route in ld 21
req prt
type rdb
cust (whatever is applicable)
route (your incoming route)

CDR is toward the bottom
Hope this helped you out.

thanks for all your help. I have printed the incoming route and it shows CDR to yes on my incoming T1. Verizon told me That I need to buy the above mentioned package in order for the ani to work. Is this true. Can I accomplish this without this package since the ANI is showing up on my users phone. I need your help thanks.

What kind of trunks do you have, Is it ISDN, and which package do they want to sell you? Also is this application for ACD? sorry I should have asked this sooner.

The package is the one you mentioned in your first reply. I have 5isdn pri's and I dont have any ACD. Thanks for your help

Like techman was saying, in LD 16 at the INC prombt make it a yes, the default is no. This should allow for records on incoming calls. Not really sure what Verizon is talking about this was in RLS 1 with the CDR package which you should have.

Hawks and techman are right. You looked to see if cdr was set to yes make sure inc is set to yes.

thanks all for your help. Yes I have gone to
LD 16
CHG RDB
went to customer 0, route 11 which is the local PRI and set CDR to yes and INC to yes. Still I dont get the INCOMING calling number to show up in CDR. Am I doing something wrong. Thank you all for your help.

I think krlosrok hit the nail on the head. If you have ISDN you need to set up CLID (calling Line ID) in ld 17 if not already set up. it is under PARM (system Parameters). when prompted CLID type yes.

Let us know what happens.

Are you looking at the raw records from the PBX or at the finished report from Call Accounting. The reason I asked I have seen some of the call accounting softwares where you had to tell it that you wanted the caller ID infofmation on the reports.

I am looking at the finished report itself. The software vendor told me that their software doesnot need anything. Just turn in ANI for incomming calls and this is when I started running into this issue.
Thanks
RickH

Ok Verizon is talking about PKG 118 (Calling line ID in CDR) for ISDN. I think that comes standard on anything above RLS 18 though. I could be wrong. I belive krlosrok is correct LD 17 and CLID should take care of it.

I have gone to LD 17 and made sure that CLID is set to yes. Still the same issue ,I cannot get the incoming calls to show up. Any are hints will be greatly appreciated. It is an option 81C with the PII CPU.
Thanks

check your rdb for ICIS yes
If I remember right, Wincall has a preview screen where you can see what the switch is sending and customize what is recorded. Double check, if you have not already, to see if it is sending incoming call records there.
