I'm trying to get a list of alarms, errors or log events from a particular cabinet/port network in Avaya CM 5.2. But when i try it doesn't give me any output. Why? I know that I've had issues with particular PBX gateways and such, so there should be alarms or errors to look at. Any response would be appreciated. Thank you.

Command: clear errors

This command clears resolved alarms
This command moves errors to cleared-errors

If this command "clear errors" is in your history log,
this is why you don't see resolved alarms or errors.

Try this command

Command: display error high

Change Error List: active-alarms to cleared-errors

use filtering for PN or Cabinet related or no filters at all
and this will find the errors that you are looking for.
