How to Get a Sites URL to "Stick" in Address Drop-down List 2

hi experts,

What do you have to do in the html code to get a site's url appear in Internet Explorer's Address drop-down list of previously-visited sites?

When you click the down arrow on the right-side of the Address window, it usually shows the last few sites you visited.

it usually shows the last few sites you visited.

That's what it does. Your site will appear there if the user has recently visited it.

I don't think there is a way to make it stay there. Certainly not a way that would be ethical.

I believe it will only show in the history if you type it in manually, not if you enter through a link.

Yep, when I enter the url manually, it shows in the history.

(I thought I had a coding issue with my html.)
