What are the key combination to get a bullet into a text (diamond or round)
in Word. Is it the same in WordPerfect 9?
Thank you.

I don't think there are key combinations to do this, but.. you can right mouse click on your bullets and select "Bullets and Numbering" and click on the bulleted tab above. There you can apply any shape to your bullets. QUOTE OF THE DAY

Click on Format>Bullets and Numbering>. If you don't see the bullet you like, click on Customize. In the next dialog box, click on Bullet. Then you can choose from different fonts for your bullet. Your best bet is to use the Wingdings one, since this has a lot of good bullets. If you plan to give the document to someone who has 97, then stick with Wingdings because if you go into Wingdings 2, Word 97 doesn't have those and will change the bullets to something else (like a question mark).X-)
I suspect CG was looking for something different. When I do my resume, I like to have bullet-like dots between my street address, city, state, phone, etc. It just looks more like "professional" stationary that way.
What CG will need to do for this type of "bullet", which isn't really a bullet but a symbol, is hit Insert-Symbol. And, for the fancy ones, scroll down to Wingdings fonts. Also, on the Insert-Symbol dialog box, click on the symbol you like, and look down at the right-hand corner of the box for the shortcut key.
These shortcut keys are entered by pressing the alt key first (but NOT holding it down) and then using the number-pad keyboard to enter the numbers. Numlocks must be on I think.
Hope this helps.
