how to get a msg wait indicator for another user's mailbox? 3

Hi all, I have an IPO 9.0 with voicemail pro. I have a secretary who's 200 and the boss is 300. Secretary has bridged appearances of the boss's a b c keys. She wants to get a message waiting light when someone leaves a message at 300, regardless if it's internal or external. How do I accomplish this while leaving mailbox 200 intact? The only way I know is to build a huntgroup with voicemail , say 400, make 200 and 300 both members and give them both H400. Problem is the boss's mailbox is already established and they don't want to give the boss a new mailbox. any ideas? Thanks

Wait for 9.1 and upgrade

I believe this is a new option in R9.1. The ability to setup buttons for MW indication for other mailboxes. You could always wait and sell them an upgrade. But be careful, it will probably "break" 10 other things.

Do as you suggest but also do the following:
Stop the VM Server after completing the creation of the groups and so on.
Then copy everything from the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\Accounts\<name of the director> to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\Accounts\<name of the group>.
Then he still have all his messages from the past but now in the group mailbox.
Then start VM Pro and open the VM Pro Client, in the specific mailbox of the director create a start point for "Collect" and add a "Get mail" action and set the target to the group mailbox.
Do the same for the "Leave" startpoint but then add a action "Leave mail" action and set the groupmailbox as the target.

He won't notice the difference I think andhis secretary can access his mailbox and get a light if there are new massages in his mailbox..

Stars all around, thank you all for the suggestions. Any word on when 9.1 is out? I just fired this 9.0 up, I think they get a free upgrade if it's within 90 days or something like that. Intrigrant, I'm going to try your suggestion now. I'm admittedly weak with vm pro....

9.1 is scheduled for the 22th December but don't be surprised when it is delayed.

I guess I'm tired and confused. So when they call 300 (which is the boss's extension) it still dumps the caller into mailbox 300, not the HG. I have a start point for that user that "collects" and goes to "get mail" for HG . I also have a leave point with a 'leave mail" for the HG that targets the HG mailbox. I must misunderstand something.

Only at the start point "Specific > User > Leave" & "Specific > User > Collect"
Is you VM Pro Client connected? Did you do Save and Make live? I suppose so but just verifying.
It works for me here.

That should be the bosses leave point, not the groups
