Hi Guys,

I have SMGR, SM, CM, and 96xx Sip phones how can I get 46xxsettings file?

Thanks for your replay but i want to export the 46xx file that exists in my system? how can i do that?

You host the 46xxsettings file externally.

So, you'd have a DHCP option with something like HTTPSRVR=1.2.3.4. That means the phone will ask for on boot.

You have to build the settings file from the template linked above with the parameters you want.

You should have a Utility server somewhere as well, you will need to know the IP address of that like Kyle said. Navigate to the utility server IP address If you do not have a utility server, then it is unlikely the 46xxsettings are located anywhere else as they need to be on a tftp server.

46xxsettings files can be hosted on any server that is capable of providing out http and https files when requested. You don't specifically have to have them on an Avaya utility server. This can be hand when you have widely spread sites that you don't want to have reach out across a WAN for the file, and you can have them look locally.

Like Kyle said look in your DHCP options for the phone in question and then put that into a browser ( and it should send you back the file to your browser.

Thanks a lot guys for the cool answers. Will try to see HTTP IP on my phone then search on browser.
