Hi Folks,
I've been tasked to find away to gather all the info from our 50 servers. I need to find some piece of software that will poll each machine for it's driver versions, and cpu, memeory, and the such. Theres alot more I need, but if anyone has any ideas please reply.

Thanks.

belarc advisor is a great product but i think you have to run the free edition on each machine but I may be wrong as I have not looked into the product in depth

You could take a look at SysTrack from Lakeside Software ( SysTrack includes an inventory component which tracks over 310 different pieces of hardware information, and all software loaded on the system. In addition to inventorying of the servers, it will also keep a history to help track any changes made to the server as well.

Good luck!

VBScript and WMI will get you all of the information you are looking for.

I often inventory Dell Assett Tags, Make & Model. Installed memory, CPU speed, hard disk used and free space, installed software, installed patches, etc.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
