I would like to know if some one had an experience in seizing the FSMO Role on your AD. The AD directory is up and running but we had a disk failure a couple of week back and had to rebuilt it. Now, we are experiencing some network issues and most of all when trying to access the Group Policy it comes up with an error message "The Domain Controller for the Group Policy operation is not available..." and comes up like with three options. Is there a better way from experience that any one can suggest how to better do this. I have read this article on how to seize FSMO roles on microsoft web site, but I need to hear more.
Thanks
