Hi,

How to format a failed drive in NetApp filers ?

Thanks & Regards,
USSivas

If the disk has really failed, then you wouldn't want to try to unfail it.

If you accidentally failed the disk, then wouldn't it be "disk unfail -s <disk id ie. 0b.18>"? If you do this, the disk becomes a spare and begins zeroing. If it fails again, I would replace the disk.
