How to Format a date on a report

I'm retired and haven't used Access in several years, so I have forgot things. Specifically, how to format a date field on a report. I want the date Field to look like this:
Tuesday
July 12
So, I need to insert a cr/lf

How about this example?
[tt]=Format([DateSent],"dddd") & Chr$(13) & Chr$(10) & Format([DateSent],"mmmm dd")[/tt]


After trying vbcrlf and Chr(10)&Chr(13) without success, found the answer here:
