I have a remote G450 in Europe registering to a central CM in Texas. How do you force the IP phones in Europe to register to the CLAN on the G450? Is this done in the 242 string?

CM 6.0

There is no CLAN in a G450, only a G650 (or SCC/MCC/CMC etc). CLAN's don't have much of a place these days since PROCR became normal.

The phones should remain registered to the same place 100% of the time (PROCR/Texas CM server) - if the network goes down between Europe and Texas CM, then there might be an S8300D inside the G450. The phones should then reregistered to the S8300D's PROCR until the network goes stable again.

Sorry I meant G450 gateway. Is there a way to force registration to the local CLAN?

You want to force the G450 to register to the local CLAN?

from the g450 do this:
clear mgc list
set mgc list X.X.X.X

X's represent IP of the CLAN.

What are you trying to accomplish with this?

CM will load balance phone registrations more or less equally across all CLANs in the same network region.

So, if Europe were region 10, and Texas region 1, and had 5 CLANs in region 1 for the Europe phones to register to, they would be load balanced across regardless of DHCP option.
