Hello everyone, hopefully someone here can help me out on this one. Here is my problem:
I have a user with a laptop that has a internal network card as well as an external wireless device (Netgear MA101/USB). What he would like to be able to do is connect to the local network by using the internal nic (cat-5) and access the internet through the wireless nic.
What I have done so far:
It is easy to set up initially, I just enplugged the hard wired connection and then connected to the internet using IE after deselecting the 'automaticly detect settings' check box. The problem was that I unplugged the wireless adaptor and plugged the cat-5 back in then rebooted, IE redirected itself back to the cat-5 connection.
How can I force the browser to use only one specific network card without loosing the local lan connection?
