How to flash cache (nss() to disk

Hi,

i like to do a "clone" with our EMC quipment every Night of the volumes without unmounting them.

How can i force the Cache to get written do disk and how can i know when this is finished ?

I only fount he Parameter: nss /FlushFilesImmediately=volumename

Any Ideas ?
