I want to fix the width of combo box in netscape. Irrespective of the length of string in the options.<br><br>I tried to controll the width of combo/option box in IE using stylesheet. How can i do this in NE.<br>supose i have options.<br><br>1. aaaaaa<br>2. aaaaaaaa<br>3. aa<br>4. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa<br><br>Nescsape will resize combo/option on option 4.<br><br>Thanks<br>nomy
 
This is a great annoyance of forms.&nbsp;&nbsp;I know that I have set the width of a listbox in Netscape using the WIDTH attribute of the &lt;SELECT&gt; tag.&nbsp;&nbsp;You might want to try that with combo boxes.&nbsp;&nbsp;One way that's pretty cloogie to make a set width is to have a width selector as one of your options.&nbsp;&nbsp;Like this:<br><br>&lt;OPTION&gt; -------------------- &lt;/OPTION&gt;<br><br>to have a box capable of holding values 20 spaces long.&nbsp;&nbsp;Then you don't allow the user to slect this option with some javascript.
