how to fix the length of column while exporting in text format

Hi

I am using Crystal 10 Version.
I want to fix the length of column while exporting in the text format with respect to the data base that is the length of columns is equal to the data base columns length.

so can any body help me how to do it?

It's not something Crystal does well. I did get it to work, though

Put everything in a single field. Change the font to Courier. Do not 'paginate'. Set characters per inch to some hight value.
