how to fix the error *Can not find database dll*?

hi!
am using MS access 97,VB6 & Crystal Reports 4.6.1.0
hav made an exe & sent it to a client site.
we are facing the captioned error.

referred to similar thread...but problem is persisting.

can anyone give some tips on how to get n run distribution
expert for my version of crystal??

This error is fairly generic, but generally it's saying that there's something wrong with the data source, as opposed to not being able to find it.

For instance you might be pointing at a View that doesn't exist.

You should be able to distribute reports within your VB app.

As for the distribution expert, I don't know that it's available for your version of Crystal, yours is the teaser freebie version, not a real copy of Crystal Reports.

I suppose you can download and try the one for CR 8.5, but I'd back up your system before installing and trying...

thnx for the info.

* how do i distribute the reports within vb app?

also, my "package & deployment wizard* is unable to make
cab files...it makes the support folder & setup.lst in the
destination folder, but doesnt respond afterwards.
* pls help me fix this.

*all our development environment machines (vb modules) are
running on CR 4.6
am raring to enhance them to CR 8.5 or 9.
pls give me some tips so that my modules dont get messed up.
