How to Fix multiple parameter fields problem

Hello All:

I am modifying a Crystal report which already has a parameter field on it. I need to add a second parameter field that accepts a Date Range. When I try this the prompt for the first parameter is overwritten. How do I fix this?

Can you detail the steps you are taking to add the second parameter and what happens?

Thanks, maybe overwritten is not the best word. Actually its a matter of the second prompt not appearing at all. No exceptions are thrown, I add the second prompt in the usual manner, to the header of the report.

You will have to explain in more detail what you are doing. It is unclear whether your issue is that you are not prompted to enter a parameter value or whether you cannot display the selection entered in response to the parameter prompt or whether the issue is that the prompt is not limiting your records.

I am modifying an existing MAS200 report. The existing report uses one table and has a parameter field that asks for a customer name. The modified report adds another table and needs a date range parameter field. When I add this new date range parameter field, The customer parameter prompt no longer appears, neither does the date range parameter, and no data is rendered into the report, all I get is a blank report.

After adding the new table, but before adding the new parameter, do you get data in the report from the new table?
