Just started a new position. We have an NT Server that was setup 'bout a year ago. The consultant left NO documentation of hardware, config, etc. . . . I'm trying to figure out what RAID level we currently have.

In DiskManager - It shows one drive (C:) as 8Gb. Looking at the front of this HP NetServer LC 3, you can see three (3) 4 Gb drives looking right at you.

From the bill of sale, I can see that an HP NetRAID-1 Disk Array Controller was installed. But, I didn't know if THAT meant RAID Level 1 or not. Do I need to run a specific HP software to find out?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance ~

If all Diskmanager shows is a 8gb drive then I would assume HW Raid5 has been implemented.

You should use the HP Array configuration utility to verify.

dxd
