Hi
what I ment to day is how to find out what pairs are in use on the 2wire digital line card and how manny are available of the original 18??
thanks chris

Chris....It depends on what card you are using i.e: TN 2181 is a 16 port and a TN 2224 is a 24 port...
So you will need to figure that out first, then do a "list config board xxxx" and see what port is available and then you can use that port...assign your station to that by doing "change station xxxx"
Then if it's a TN 2181 the 16 ports layout a little wierd start with the BL/W pair (port 1) first 4 pairs then skip 4 pair then the next 8 pair are ports then skip 4 then the next 4 pair are ports again....with the last port being the V/BR (port 16)
On the TN 2224 its the the first 24 pair again ending with the V/BR pair....

Good Luck
