We’ve a couple of thousand stations and numbers. Unfortunately there is no good administrations of installed phones and configured numbers. Employees goes out, but don't create a task to remote their extension. We’re out of license now, so we want to remove all extensions who are not in use anymore. But we don’t know which stations. Is there a way to find out which stations/extensions are not used in the last 6 months, so we can remove all this extensions, and create some free licenses?
I thought to sort the phone backup files to “date modified”, but I don’t know is that is a good solution.
Unfortunately I can’t export a “display alarms” because the system is rebooted last month, so I can’t see wich unused extensions create an alarm.
Avaya Communication Manager, release 7.0, installed on VMWARE.

Not really , all you can do is "list multimedia ip unregistered" to see what IP phones are not registered to the kit.

Then your option of the back up files is really the only way to determin last real usage , but that also depends on what bruri settings you have related to the phone.

ACSS (UC/SBCE/SM/SME)

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.
