How to find the Next PORHSEQ number

Hi,

I am writing a custom VB Purchase Order application. I am trying to add data into the POPORL, POPORH tables using ADO or DAO.
I explicity need to use either DAO or ADO. There is one field (PORHSEQ) in both tables that need to be matched.
It seems that ACCPAC uses a special numbering for this field.
Who can tell me how can I get the Next available PORHSEQ number. If I leave this field Blank, will Accpac automatically create a new number???

You can't use ADO to populate that table, you have to use Accpac's COMAPI.
