I dont want to go into full details but the source of everything in a access db Im looking at for work is hidden. I need to find the source of the reports on this DB.

Also how do you remove all permissions from an access db?

Under options, have you selected to display Hidden objects? As far as the permissions are concerned, it would depend on the type.

then, you need to consider the validity of the information you will find hither, thither and yon. the individual objects in Ms. A. include the "Property" of RecordSource and (for some controls) a "RowSource". each of these purports to reveal the source of the information displayed by the object (or control) ... but ... then it is relaticely easy and quite common to modify these properties dynamically (e.g. in Code) thus obfuscating the elemental truth of all anyway ... so dig the hole as deep as ye will whilst being wary of the possability of cave in (erronous results)
